The city became so rich during the Rubber Period that it became known as the 'Paris of the Tropics'. Today, Manaus, the capital of Amazonas, is the gateway for tourists who want to explore the Amazon.
My duties
In this project I had the opportunity to carry out several activities, with emphasis on the following:
- Musical direction and production
- Composition of song arrangements with Járlei Farias
- Drum and bass programming
- Recording of acoustic and electric guitars
- Recording of backing vocals with Fernanda Sena
- Editing, Mixing and Mastering
- Composition of the Album Cover Art
- Creation of the Laboratório Musical Talent Show Logo
- Creation and production of the opening musical theme for Laboratório Musical Talent Show
- Composition of the script and direction of the Webshow launching Laboratório Musical Talent Show
The Laboratório Musical Talent Show project was awarded by the Creative Culture Program – 2020/Aldir Blanc Law – Feliciano Lana Award from the Amazonas State Government, with support from the Federal Government – Ministry of Tourism – Special Secretariat for Culture.
The project consisted of a complete immersion program in the world of Music Business, where 4 artists were selected to live unique experiences in their careers.
The participants began the program with a week of workshops focused on their professional development, such as musical etiquette, vocal technique, body expression, sound design, positive psychology and musical marketing.
Each participant also had a professional photo shoot and was also prepared for the recording studio with vocal coach Fernanda Sena.
Each participant presented two unreleased songs that were produced and arranged by Leonardo Oliveira and Járlei Farias and released on digital platforms in an album titled "Laboratório Musical - Vol. 1" after a beautiful launch show broadcast live.
Our goal was achieved! The project brought a transformative and unique experience to participants Alex Alencar, Bella Queiróz, Dinho Rodrigues and Nay Silva. The result can be seen on digital platforms with the album "Laboratório Musical - Vol. 1".
